we as humans have devised and crafted institutions for pleasure. the coffee shop.
if you order a latte over 10 oz, what you actually need is a hug. an espresso shot is 2 oz. if you order a 20 oz latte you are drinking 18 oz of hot milk.
you just need a hug.
it baffles me at the extensive amount of options one has when they arrive to order. we forget what a luxury it is to even just have hot water.
there is an excessive amount of options for milk ratio, type of milk, flavoring, sweetness, here or to go, caf or decaf, drip or pour over? food warmed up or cold. for here or to go.
there is the promoted opportunity to take up space.
some people respectfully return their dishes and throw away garbage. some just leave it on the table. there is an expectation for abundance and automation.
Institutions that profit off of pleasure seeking and addiction. Caffeine and sugar.
Also the opportunity to order excessively. In the comfortability of taking up space there is a hinderance to the person after them.
to purchase a good is like cumming.
it is a release and it is satisfying.
